Payal baajat laagi re

Jaunpuri has always been a favorite Raag of mine. My first exposure to it was through Pt Bhimsenji and his superhit version of the popular Purandaradas bhajan, Yaake Mookanado.

It also was the first Raag I learned to play on the guitar, full 20 years after I picked one up, and for the keen observer, every note I play on the guitar fits the melodic template of the raag.
